Brief description.

Workshop "Talk with an Adult or Contact Method in psychological counseling and in psychotherapy".

Eric Bern, the father-founder of the transact analysis thought that without contract there is neither therapy nor the transact analysis itself. Why does TA analysis pay so much attention to contracts? This follows, first of all, from the philosophical message stating that «All people – ОК» . At the same time the therapist and the client are equal, so they share responsibility for the changes that the client is seeking. Then there is a belief that everyone can think independently and finally is responsible for one’s own life, and s/he will face the consequences of the decisions that s/he is making. So it is the client, not the therapist who decides what s/he wants to change in one’s own life. The therapist’s role is to point the aspects that will help reaching the goal. All this will be discussed at the work-shop. The participants will learn how to distribute the responsibility in the dyad Client-Counselor (Therapist) and what actually the contract is and what is it for.
