The programme of “Christmas-Tide Meetings” includes several complementary dimensions that could be defined as the main programme of the Festival, the Evening Programme (“Christmas-Tide Leisure Time”) and the Child Programme (“Christmas-Tide vacations”). We want our multidimensional Christmas-Tide programme to provide the participants with a large range of new impressions and long-lasting bright memories.
Main programme
The main programme of the “Christmas-Tide Meetings” Festival includes contest and non-contest events. Non-contest events make the structure of the programme. These are traditional activities, which are on the agenda of the Christmas-Tide Meetings year after year: • Warming up – Alexey Koryoukin, Director offers this warming-up before the five-day long marathon. This is good both for seasoned participants and rookies. This is a chance to bring back to memory/learn interesting facts from the previous years, to find one’s way in the Christmas-Tide area as well as to stir your creativity and just get to know the surroundings • Morning Circle – an everyday general five-minute meeting where the leaders announce their workshops, while the organisers make important announcements and the participants wake up and plan their day • Tale-Telling – a complicated yet dull name “Procedure Groups” is history now but the purpose of the Tale-Telling is the same – to be a stable island in the Christmas-Tide mess. A stable leader and the same participants will allow everyone to bring order into their thoughts and feelings after the day • Community meeting – the participants at Sviatky come together twice – in the beginning and in the end of the event. First – to meet one another and get to know the bright picture of the Festival; last - to assess the Festival and to think about how it should be held next year • Key-Note Discussions – the reference points in the Programme that are aimed to open up the theme and involve every participant into the discussion of its various aspects • Large group – the content, theme and the moods of the Large Group depend exclusively on the participants and are the result of their interaction. This is a container for the dynamic processes emerging at the Festival; this is a chance to feel part of the Sviatky micro-society where everyone has various feelings, thoughts, knowledge and courses of actions; this is a chance to feel the Sviatky “pulse” and the way it is beating in you • Academy Meeting – the Academy includes those who submitted an application to the contest programme (Academicians), the winners of the professional nominations from the previous years (Masters) as well as the specialists who have made a special contribution into the development of the mental health service (Honorary Masters). They are all invited to the meeting to discuss the theme of the next Festival and other issues, which would improve the professional prestige of the Festival
The contest events include creative workshops submitted the participants of the Festival prior to December 1, 2010 and which the Programme Committee has included into the Programme.
The workshops presented at Sviatky are diverse both in their form and the content. Namely, those could include games, master-classes, discussions, theoretical speeches, supervisions, etc. For more details about the activities included into the Programme, please visit our web-site www.sviatky.ru. At the website you will also find the abstracts on the workshops that are part of the Programme. The most complicated thing about Sviatky is making choice. The workshops are running simultaneously in several parallels, which are equally competing among themselves in order to get the participants.
